About Emily
For over 25 years, I’ve worked as a musician, songwriter, touring and recording and artist. My life in music has taken me through long stretches on the road, where I began to notice the cumulative effects of repetitive strain—tension, discomfort, and a growing sense that I wasn’t using myself in a way that felt sustainable or expressive enough.
Although I was able to continue performing, something always felt constrained. I knew there was more freedom, more ease, and more possibility available in how I moved and expressed the songs I had written.
This search led me to the Feldenkrais Method®, a practice that transformed not only how I relate to myself, but how I experience music-making and performing itself. Through this work, I discovered new pathways toward comfort, efficiency, and greater expressive range—both on and off the stage, and in my everyday life.
Today, I bring together my decades of experience as a performing artist with my training in the Feldenkrais Method® to support others in finding more ease, awareness, and authenticity in their own lives.
Now, I bring together my decades of experience as a performing artist with my training in the Feldenkrais Method® to support others—especially elderly folks, musicians, artists, and sensitive, high-performing individuals—in finding more ease and possibility in their work.
Whether you’re navigating pain, recovering from strain, or simply curious about moving, working, and performing with more freedom, this method offers a gentle and powerful way back to yourself.
